<Livebox Issues? ~ Vista PC goes to sleep + won't wake up if Livebox connected

I recently upgraded (!) my old XP Pro PC to a machine running Vista Home Premium. If I have the Livebox router connected to the ethernet port, when the machine goes to sleep, it won't wake up. Has anybody else seen this behaviour, and what is the solution? Otherwise it seems to work OK, other than periodically dropping the connection, which it's always done. At the moment I've gone back to the Speedtouch USB modem. Thanks, Tony.
