Anyone else having problems once they log into their account?
If I go to Wireless & Talk or Change my Package I get error messages. I have been getting these for the last 2 weeks, have emailed customer support but with no joy.
I often get this error: 59h4910 - We are currently unable to retrieve your details. Please try again later or contact our customer support team.
I have been getting error messages when accessing Wireless & Talk and Change my Package for 2 weeks. I have notified CS on several occasions and nothing has been resolved.
You would like to think an IT company could sort its own IT problems pretty quickly.
I don't think there are many "IT" folk employed with Orange - Recent conversations with their "Help Desk" suggests there are lots of disillusioned front men/women that sound almost desperate and have little to no idea when it comes to anything more technical than asking "Is everything connected correctly"
I've not yet signed the contract they sent and I will continue to sit on it until I get a complete week without a loss of connection or until I find a more reliable ISP!

It is pot luck which CS rep you talk to whether they have any knwoledge or not. I work in IT and my customers would soon leave if they got that service from me.
I had a major issue with not being able to activate wireless & talk and change my package to the max package. This went on for 3 weeks and was only resolved when I spoke to Craig in cancellations whilst asking for my MAC code. It was then sorted in the next 2-3 days.
They can never tell me when i will get adsl max of 8mb!

Technically it's not a contract, it's the hire agreement, basically a document to show your understanding that the livebox is theirs and they'll want it back if you cancel or change to the starter package. Even if you refuse to sign it they'll still want the livebox back.
Until a few days ago they couldn't tell you when ADSL Max is being introduced, now it's "November".
I havent had any hire agreement, just a letter with my user,email,etc.
I was originally told when applied that would be september, now from you say it is november at the earliest. Bulldog and Be unlimited have upgraded on my exchange already, why not Orange?

Well ADSL Max stuff begins in September but most people are unlikely to see it before November.
Why haven't Orange LLU'd it yet? Pure and simply cost.
They do the exchanges where they can put the most customers onto a higher speed first and work down some list they have. After that it's a balance over how quickly they upgrade, the faster they go the more it'll cost and more likely there'll be problems.
