i have a nice and speedy 8mbit connection, syncing at around 7600,

however recently in the later hours of the day (you could consider it to be peak times) i seem to be only getting 512kbit, and this is consistant from around 6-11pm.

is there anything i can do to get round this cap? or do i need to get myself a new isp???

edit: it looks like they are setting my ip profile down to 500kb as confirmed by BT's speed testers.
