I have recently managed to switch (yes, really!) ISP to another provider. Everything going swimmingly at the moment. However, I have no doubt in my mind that the account is not over and done with until it is physically closed. I resent having to spend further monies on phoning Orange again (having now gotten out of their lousy contract!). Therefore, I have an email address from Orange Broadband Response which I'd like to email this specific bloke that was good enough to cancel and release me from contract. However, whenever I try to access the Orange email account to email him to ask him to physically close the account, nothing happens. I log in, but the egg-timer thing just hangs there and does nothing, until it times out.
Now, I don't know whether this is a general Orange email issue that others are also experiencing, or whether it is something to do with me not technically being with Orange anymore. Although, if the latter were the case, why is it I can still log into my account to view statements etc?!
If anyone can throw any light on this for me, I'd me extremely grateful. Like I say, I really don't want to have to go down the route of ringing Orange again, only to get hold of mindless zombies who waste my time, energy and money. I suppose I could email from a different account, but that said, I'd prefer Orange not to have access to any of my non-Orange email accounts!!!
