Just wondered if any other members or poster's are encountering this error message when trying to submit a post, the actual post submits to the forum OK!..?.. but this has been happening over the past two days.. Just wondered!

Yes, I have been experiencing that. However, it seems to post okay (i.e is still legible!), so who knows what it is?! Maybe some Orange type demon trying to interfere with this life-saving site.......??!!! :)

Thanks for that!,.. I did wonder if it was specific to my PC, but obviously not !.. still even Orange can't put demons in here.. can they..err .. no Orange are rubbish! Full stop.
PS. This is funny but since my original post the problem seems to have disappeared!.. maybe they are watching! ..but on the otherhand.. "Orange are so useless they couldn't work out how to hijack a site like this." !!
Yes same ere it happens a lot, also no notifictaion emails when someone replies to a post.

Good thanks, although I desperately need to do the ring wire as the synch speed in my test socket was 10MB, but in my extension ~5MB. I used UberGT to set my target SNR to 150% to stabilise my line, but I think o2 (now Sky) have also adjusted me from 6db to 9db since they sent me an email saying my speed isn't as fast as they were expecting.
I know once I do the ring main I can ring o2 (now Sky) to get that reset and hopefully I will get good speeds. I know it's only a 10 minute job, but I just want to be 100% sure I know where the 3rd extension is in the house (hiding behind loads of clutter)

I'm sure when Orange capped me to 2MB / fixed my LLU fault thay asked BT to reroute me down a different copper wire as my attenuation was changed from 30 to 35, however according to the graphs could get me another 2MB on my synch speed, and compared to what I was getting before I couldn't ask for more for the price
I read similar things too about Be - well actually they stop taking new registrations once the exchange is full, which is excellent news
