A warning to anyone on Orange broadband or considering it....
Signed up GF's father last week for Orange broadband....
there was a fault with sign up on website so he decided to ring..
'Foreign' call centre... bloke put in all details and said sorry your cards not working... can I take a different card ie credit card.... for now...
then ring back later to change to debit card...
bloke took details and said everything OK...
He then rang Orange back later on to change to debit card... and Orange person said the debit card details were already set up etc... so nothing to do...
Anyway.. cust a long story short... this bloke from the foreign call centre has used OR passed on the credit card details and has spent over a grand on it in a week!
the robbing b..... an invoice came in the post for something which this bloke has bought with his mobile number and a delivery address in london on it...
So London police is now onto him..
And No this couldn't have been anyone/anything else as this was a new credit card and was the first and only time it had ever been used.
