Sorry - it's been a busy week. Yes, I meant something very like Elhana's suggestion for HTH ("Hope that helps" was what I actually had in mind, but I won't split hairs! ).
The bit about clarification was intended simply to reflect the fact that what I was suggesting - am still am suggesting - is that the price list I posted (which I've now removed) doesn't actually help you - quite the reverse. When I sign up for anything new I check the small print quite carefully, and I certainly never saw anything that led me to believe that I'd be getting international mobile calls free.
The lack of email is something else, of course, and you could take legal advice on that, I suppose.

Thank you. I will definitely check ALL small print from now on, though my point is I and my son (the other person I was talking about) are SURE we saw free mobile on a webpage, but of course we never printed that.
Well, we have now come to an arrangement with Orange after a lot of wondering what to do. What I think could have happened is that some people received the Oops email about the error on the Livebox and some received another email that I and my son received about Price Change Notification that was sent out on 18th Jan 08. The price change one did show charges for mobile, though you had to search in the text for it and click on a link, though it didn't mention anywhere about error on the Livebox. I did a Google search on my computer and it didn't find the Oops email, therefore how could I prove this without getting someone independent in and incurring more cost.
Orange still didn't prove to me that they sent me that Oops email, it was just their word that they did and my word to them that I didn't receive it. that is why in the end we came to an arrangement we were both reasonably happy with. This does mean therefore I still get my free landline calls to Nepal which I need now my daughter is back there again.
Thanks to everyone who took the trouble to answer me, though I still think there must be other people out there who didn't receive the all-important email.
