I lost my Wanadoo service on Saturday afternoon and still haven't got it back after lengthy calls to the 0870 technical support number. Last night the somewhat tetchy person I spoke to suddenly broke into an apparently prepared statement the gist of which was that introducing new technologies is always problematic and how Wanadoo are transferring their lines with LLU with generally wonderful results but that unfortunately in a very few cases their customers may experience difficulties.
Has anyone else had this? He was unable to tell me whether this was just a problem in my area (North West London) or whether it was national, or how long my internet connection will be down. Just wondered if anyone else has been cut off as long as me and what the extend of this problem is.
