For the last week each time the home phone rings we lose our broadband connection - Livebox . It then takes a couple of mins to retore after the phone call ends.
We have plugged Livebox staright into the BT socket the same happens. We have put new filter on but still happens. Have called Orange twice but dont seem to be getting anywhere can anyone help?

Have made sure that they are filters plugged into every single phone socket in your house, it sounds like the line has not been split correctly.
The other choice is to leave Orange and go to a decent internet provider!
We have only one phone socket - this has a filter - a new one fitted this just in case the old one was faulty. Have taken phone out and plugeed lived box directly into the BT socket - same thing happens. Nothing in the house has chnaged and the system was working fine. yesterday it seemed to be Ok then today we are losing connection without the phone ringing.

By plugging a filter into each linebox you risk "double-filtering" i.e. every device should only go through one and only one filter between it and the master socket.
Sounds like an item isn't filtered correctly perhaps any on a long extension or splitter ?
Each non-ADSL item must have its own filter and plug the item into the filter don't plug the splitter or extension into the filter then the item into the splitter or extension. This will prevent "double filtering" which must not happen. If you're using extension leads then check that double filtering hasn't occurred.
EDIT>>>>> just saw your latest post. Check that only wires 2 and 5 are connected in the BT linebox.
