This is the last Speedtest.net speed check I did with Orange before I switched to o2 (now Sky)

And this is the same line on o2 (now Sky) the next day, quite a difference isn't it?

Well I would say 2162 kb in download and 499 kb in upload...

I am finding speedtest tests unreliable myself. The OP may want to try connecting to Maidenhead now though - his ping time has doubled, so I guess this means the comparisons aren't like for like?

o2 (now Sky) are not LLU anyway, they are ADSL2+ as far as im aware and a hell of a lot more reliable than Orange.

Be and o2 (now Sky) are LLU - i.e. they have their own kit in the exchange, and with Be/o2 (now Sky) if they don't have their own kit in your exchange, it means you can't sign up to them - luckily for those that want to migrate to them, they are enabling exchanges quite quickly which is good news for those potential customers I guess

Ooops never noticed it was different server, heres Maidenhead for comparison.
