HI, I have just managed to connect a wireless Intel MAC to the Livebox and I can run Windows XP on it as an option when starting up. Both Operating systems will connect to the Livebox with no problems.
My question is whether anyone knows if I could connect a wireless PC laptop as well? The Orange tech support says one wireless computer only, but this post ( http://www.orangeproblems.co.u...php?t=4106 ) seems to say that I can run a MAC and a PC via Livebox together.
If I can't connect two wireless computers, can I use the spare ethernet port to connect another modem or something to receive the Wi-fi PC signal and cheat the Livebox system?

As far as I'm aware you shouldn't have any problem running several computers wirelessly, and up to two computers using an Ethernet cable. What was said / written by tech support to make you think otherwise? This page:
Erm, you needed to read to the bottom of the page, where it says, "You can also use an internal wireless card if your PC or laptop has one, to connect to your Livebox. The card needs to be 802.11g or 802.11b-compatible."
Your OP stated that your laptop is wirelss, ie that it is fitted with an internal wireless card. I'd be pretty surprised if, that being the case, it weren't 802.11g or 802.11b compatible.
Assuming that your laptop does have a wireless card fitted, don't buy the USB adapter - it will give you no advantage whatsoever.
Having said all of that, there have been some problems connecting wirelessly since the recent firmware update. It doesn't seem to affect many people, though, and is perhaps restricted to certain hardware. It's not inconceivable that this will include you, but I think you'd probably be able to count yourself as very unlucky if it did.

I have managed to connect the PC laptop to the Livebox successfully. I initially bought a cheap adapter (£6.50) from Amazon.co.uk/?tag=orangeprobcou-21&camp=6&creative=6786&linkCode=ur1"> Amazon just in case the Wifi card in the PC did not work, but I did not need it. I have the wifi Intel MAC and the wifi laptop PC both using the Livebox at the same time.
The help section suggests that you need the adapter to run up to six wireless computers. I suggest trying them without the adapter first, then buy one from Amazon.co.uk/?tag=orangeprobcou-21&camp=6&creative=6786&linkCode=ur1"> Amazon for a 3rd of the price of the Orange Shop.
