They probably said "cease" as in "discontinuation of broadband on your line".....you'll get used to the Delhi accent over time.
You're yet another one who needs to check you MTU/RWIN settings, use the link in the left menu column
but my pc has been working for the last year just fine then all of a sudden stopped can the mtu and rwin just change on there own to cause this , i didnt change anything it just happened, and does this mtu and rwin afect msn messenger etc ?

The problem usually occurs if your line is moved from the BT Wholesale product to Orange LLU. They don't ask your permission to do this - if they install their equipment in your exchange they'll just move all their existing customers across.
However, Orange LLU connections require different MTU & RWIN settings to what BT let you get away with.
Unfortunately Orange don't seem to accept this is a problem to end users. You would have thought that enough people has suffered by now that they would take steps to ensure customers knew how to make the setting changes BEFORE moving their lines. But then again, that would cost them money in support costs, and maybe they don't want to alert the customers to what they have been up to.....

........so that their customers can spend money phoning helpdesks for a few hours earning Orange more revenue and profit......is how you should have finished !!!
Yes, why spend money when you can just keep quiet and earn it....seems very good commercial sense but not if you're a consumer.
