I have been using my Livebox without any problems until recently.
The Livebox will work perfectly fine, internet will be running up to speed, but after so long using it everything seems to lag. Websites suddenly take longer to load, etc. Rest the box from the plug, and everything is fine again, until after so long the box starts to lag again.
Also when i try and look on the Livebox config on my PC, the pages for that load really slow, which never happened before.
Could this be linked with the update, i have checked and i think i'm on the old firmware still. (5.08.3-uk)
Are you using a wired or wireless connection?
If wireless try a wired connection and see if it runs better, at least to the config.
If it's wired then try swapping to the other port and another cable if you have one.
recent update may have caused this, if problem persists might be a good idea ringing tech and asking for a firmware recovery pack to be sent out and a recovery of the firmware done on the box, with a Recovery agent. Sounds like a strange problem really its a bit odd that the livebox pages are slow.
Good thing to consider is making sure you have no proxy servers running etc and you are not using a dial up connection, it is always set to never dial a connection etc. Making sure obtain ip address and DNS server automatically are selected may also be a good idea.
He stated that the livebox seemed to still be running the old firmware so that's not the cause, although a firmware recovery could possibly help, although that is probably unlikely here.
