Im fuming with Orange, i have been with them since they were Freeserve & have never had problems, yet now its a different story.
I am an admin of a website (www.blackcatchat.net) and i cant access it, i have tried everything possible - flush DNS - Resetting my router - even formatting my PC aswell as speaking to various 3rd party tech specialists etc, etc. They all say the problem is with my ISP (i have had no access for over 2 weeks now)
I have 'Spoken' with Orange Tech Support and what a bloody farce they are, they are useless (maybe if they were english, i could get my point across a bit easier). To cut a long story short, orange are saying it isn't them when i have been told on numerous occasions that it is - 4 other users on the site use Orange broadband and they seem to have the same problem.
Anyone have any ideas as to what i can do/say to Orange?
Just got a traceroute for your site, but it still won't load.......it may not be Orange blocking it :-

Perhaps, someone could try www.therevcounter.com for me as I can only access it through a proxy and I can't get opendns to work on either a vista laptop of xp SP2 PC
I'm about to post a new thread so I'll introduce myself there

I'm using OpenDNS with XP SP2 and it won't load......no problems with any other sites.
as far as im aware Orange do not knowingly block websites, maybe a problem with thier (oranges) servers or something but im pretty sure its against some sort of EU legislation that websites can not be blocked or something, try looking up Article 5.1 in DIRECTIVE 2001/29/EC OF THE EUROPEAN PARLIAMENT AND OF THE COUNCIL of 22 May 2001 aka Infosoc Directive.
