I have about 10months of my Orange contract left,is it possible to leave before my contract is up.Thank You.Robert
Why ???......you haven't given any details of any problems you're having so on the facts as you've stated the answer must be "Yes" if you're willing to pay up the balance of the contract in cancellation fees or "No" if you're not willing.
Borednow i have been with Orange since the Freeserve days.I can only get 1mgb thats to slow.I have been to my neighbors they are on Virgin cable,The speed of there's makes mine look like its standing still.I will stay where i am,i am not paying the contract off.Thanks.Robert
Borednow,my exchange is Hatch End,according to the BT web site my line will support 2mgb,but according to Orange it is only 1mgb.plus i am on the end of the line from this exchange.Apart from the speed issue i have had no trouble with Orange, even since the freeserve days.Cheers,Cumbrian
All it takes is for the 2 meg connection to be close to the borderline and it then gets knocked down to the next speed for stability, which is 1 meg. Actual line stats would be a little more help but you'd need to get them over time to check for any fluctuations as well.
only way to cancel without fee is if your bb is not working, if on the systems it says you should be on xx mbps and you are recieving that speed then that is not a good enough reason to be honest if you did want to cancel you would get charged, on the other hand it may not hurt to ring the care team and haggle with them by saying you have slow speeds, excessively slow speeds, they may put you on a package that is like £12/m with 6 months free (12 month contract or something)
