When I turn my PS3 on (or then I turn my Panasonic Plasma TV on or Onkyo AV receiver), my router seems to disconnect from the internet - ie:
Livebox goes to PPP in progress to Synchonisation in Progress to PPP in progress then to Connected *ip address*.
Has anyone else got the same problem as me. The connection between the PS3 and livebox is fine, just when I turn one of the above Three appliances on this occurs. Media server connection is off and the PS3 is wirelessly connected.
It is getting quite silly now - it can't hold a connection for more than 30 minutes as best. I'm using a Desktop one minute, I go upstairs turn the TV on (PS3 is on prior to this, still trying to get a PES 2008 update) and the Onkyo resynchonises to release a HD image to the Panasonic. Then the internet goes down.
Assuming the PS3 was on before the disconnect, I think it may be the Panasonic TV/Onkyo. A few other people have this problem, though is it simply Orange kicking people off as soon as their PS3 attempts to connect to a certain IP?
