I have been unable to send mail through my outlook express since yesterday and incomping mail is taking several hours to reach me, if at all.
My settings which were working fine until yesterday are:
incoming mail on pop.freeserve.net
outgoing mail on smtp.orange.co.uk
Since December 2007, I have found that none of my emails to aol or hotmail addresses have been reaching their intended recipients.
I can still send out through my webmail account but do not like to use it as, when people reply it goes to member@ rather than myemail@ and so can only be read on webmail.
Also, since Orange took over from Wanadoo, I have noticed an increase in my daily spam (trapped by my filter) from just 30 to well over 2000 per day. All my Orange-using friends have noticed a similar trend.
What is going on and can it be fixed at my end?
