Im having big problems getting into my email through the Orange website, also other sites appear to be not working (hotmail for one)
i have downloaded DRTCP.exe and have tried changing the MTU settings etc by browsing this site but to no avail?!
Anyone got any ideas as to how i can check my email and also get other websites that aren't working.....working.
I've never had this problem before and its really getting to me and my partner!
Also this is slightly off the email topic but if anyone has any experience with online games. My Steam won't load up and i can't sign in and play my games, this seems to be linked to the webpages not loading up problem.

ben i have got the exact same problem, seems that Orange have got major fault. They are apparently working on it but we shall see. its really annoying as some have now got theirs wor5king.Guess we just have to be patient although thats hard.
I'm having the same problem using Mailwasher and Outlook express - continual timeouts. If I try webmail trhough Orange.co.uk I get 404 page not found.
No particular problems with surfing though - it just seems to be effecting the e-mail system.
If there is a problem with their servers, why don't they say so instead of having everyone running around reinstalling everything and changing settings all over the place. the status claims everything is tickety boo, but it clearly is not. if they just said that there is a problem possibly withcertain customers, then i could accept that if i knew they were working on it.

Yes me too I cant get in to my main e mail online but can get via OE though I can get all my fsmail mail accounts no trouble so using one of them when I need to now...
Only other site Im haveing trouble getting in to is a Fan Forum I belong to where my account got deleted and I need to go in and rejoin but I cannot get the page at all I think someone hacked my account but cant do anything until Orange sort it aparently...???
Will we get some discount from Orange for our inconvienence...???

follow this and it should all be fine!
Ok here's how.......
Bring up Internet explorer and in the address bar type 192.168.1.1
this will bring up your inventel screen to give you access to your live box.
Click the Orange coloured line to get access to your livebox, a pop up should appear and ask for an username & password, they should be "admin" and "admin" (both lowercase and no " , if you changed yours sometime in the past, enter what ever you changed them to)
Click on "My services" then "Internet"
Under "internet connection state" click the "disconnect" button and wait a min or so.....
Now press "connect" and your live box will refresh it's IP address and off you go !!
I did it twice before it worked for me......
I can now waste my precious time again Playing TF2 and shouting at my monitor when I'm being critted all over again !!

I'm wondering if the solution is as a simple as that suggested above.
Firstly I'm not on Livebox, but Speedtouch 330 modem and I got this problem this morning for the first time. Last night it was all right, but I had noticed that emails were taking ages to arrive at their destinations, and my thought was that Orange servers were playing up, again.
Early this morning, I got the error message about not being able to connect to wassup.orange.co.uk so I did a System Restore to late last night (as had been suggested on another board elsewhere).
After that, on signing in to email again early this morning, it was OK. It's OK right now. So, surely the answer isn't as simple as is being suggested above?
