What can i do I keep getting error 692 - asdl line not connected, however it is so intermittant. early am or last thing at night seems ok, but try at in the evening or weekends forget it. - constant green flashing light on speedtouch modem and mustard and purple on lights on comp. Not been able to connect since 13th Jan and am end of tether. I'm on broadband starter that i got free with new mobile phone contract. why oh why did it do it i ask. Have had so much trouble connecting when i want to use the internet/email. have spent so many calls to Orange that i have now given up ringing as is always same and costs a fortune- power down. do this do that.- nothing seems to work and then after a week suddenly its all ok again.
Should apply, vista will give the same generic error codes for dialup connections which is what the speedtouch uses. Best to start off by uninstalling and reinstalling it. Download the latest drivers too.
