Well the tarrifs show Orange mobile numbers as free, no mention of international at all or any exceptions.
if i call say my friends uk Orange mobile i assume it will b free as i have no idea where he is. but if he was in say the usa it would be a bit hard on me if it was charged to me? I am going to the states soon so want to know whether my wife could phone me free of charge on an Orange sim phone?
(i cross posted another thread on this as forgot where i started it sorry)
The call to the mobile number would be free (as part of your package - doesn't it have to be tied to your Orange mobile account to get free calls to mobiles?)
HOWEVER, the person who takes their mobile abroad pays for the call to be forwarded abroad. (on their standard mobile rate)
You can however call USA landlines for free (If you have the right package) so you could send your wife a landline number and she could call it.
I am definately using the second line because I am signing into Orange to see my statement where I have been charged for calling my Orange mobile.
What I meant was, are you sure your second line is active ?
From a previous post >>>>
"Login to your account at Orange and go to "Manage your second line" the info is in there. If the "Manage your second line" entry isn't shown then I suspect it's not activated.
OR
You can tell from the LiveBox if the VOIP service is active.
Type 192.168.1.1 in your browser (or whatever IP address you use for the Livebox) and select "access the configuration pages" (ID and password are probably set to "admin" unless you have changed them) and then select "System Information). You'll find the Talk Status and phone number near the bottom ogf the page. 2= active."
