Im a thoroughly disgruntled Oranger.
Been with them since 1996 had free broadband for 18 months or so.
Moved house on Oct 1st, finally got connected to BB on 27th despite oodles of calls, missed deadlines (and my cash) to useless 08700 support number.
Connection started playing up again 11 days ago, more calls, more inept offerings, more resetting the Deadbox. Useless. Box is now displaying the same light sequence as during my 1st month of no connection, and offers no connection whatsoever. I now have to fork out for BB from an alternative, proper BB suppier.
Orange Broadband totally accept theyve failed me, i only signed up to my new Orange mobile contract beacause BB was included for free. Had it not been, i would have gone to a PAYG phone and paid for my broadband from another supplier.
I have maintained this position with Orange, yet they will not entertain cancelling my phone contract which runs until Oct.
I can honestly say Orange have turned from a decent, efficient company in to a ramshackle disorganised bunch of con artists. Im going to cancel my direct debit, and see them in court if they so desire.
I would advise anybody to think very long and hard about what theyre getting in to, before signing up with these sewer rats.

Yes Orange certainly are full of bull and rob people.
Remember that regardless of any outstanding BB contract left with them they still have to issue you with a MAC code so that you can move to a real ISP, by law, within 5 working days.
