I've been following posts in this forum to connect my new laptop to my live box. All went well until I reached a screen which said " Type in the network security key or passphrase for livebox C140" I've no idea what this means, I only taught my self to use a computer a little while ago when I retired. so I dont know all the terminology. could some body help me out please.
Look on the bottom of your livebox, there will be a sticker marked with WEP Key or Security Key.
Thats what you need enter, exactly as you see it but without spaces.
Once you've typed the key in but before pressing any buttons etc, press the 1 button on the livebox so the antenna light is flashing. After that it should all connect up when you continue.
