Joined tonight after I was convinced that Orangeadooserve were throttling my bandwidth.
Spoke to four helpdesk people who kept saying "this is not my department" before I got through to an indian guy who seemed willing to help.
"we will do a line test, then BT will do a line test on the 18/12" - OK, I said, what will that do?
"It will tell us, via yourself and your family, if you have a problem with your current internet, despite our current internet says everything is ok" - really...
I haven't been able to get more than 49 Kbps all day, on a 4MB line, suddenly, as I write, I have 3MB! I have asked for a MAC code and am going to Bulldog, if that's any good. Is it any good?
I know they were throttling my Broadband, it's outrageous that they don't admit it until you threaten to leave. Why are they persuing a course of action which will lead to customers churning to other ISP's?
I joined freeserve 8 years ago, then wannadoo, then Orange. It's time to move on.
HI BUDDY I TOO WAS WITH Orange FOR 3 MONTHS OF A 12MONTH CONTRACT I GOT ON TO OFCOM ABOUT THIS CRAP SERVICE AND GOT MY MAC CODE CANCELLED CONTRACT AND AWAY I WENT. IWOULD RECOMMEND FAST AS THE BEST ISP AROUND BIT MORE MONEY BUT YOU GET FIRST CLASS QUALITY AND SERVICE
