Guys thanks for your posts and sorry for not getting back sooner. Seems as soon as i put the Orange dns servers into the router then the internet worked without a bother, even when restarted. thanks again guys!
Hey I had nearly exactly the same problem yesterday. I have a netgear router that worked fine until last night when I got home. For some reason It just won't work. Msn messenger says it can find the DNS numbers but they are there, present an correct. My Xbox 360 is exactly the same. I tried with my old speed touch modem again, and managed to log on but at such a snails pace even an old dial up modem would be faster. I say if you can get out of your contract with Orange do so. They are a pile of crap. They have pi**ed me off for the last time now. I'm leaving asap and advise to to so to. If loads leave they my improve there sh***y service for some of the poor people that are stuck with them. GET OUT WHILE YOU CAN IF YOU CAN[color=red][/color]
