Okay To summarise I have been having an ongoing battle to get my Internet Connection back and this is how it has gone -
7th November - Internet cut off , I rang up and asked why and it was because of a payment that had not come out on my direct debit , so i offered to pay over the phone like i had done once before when this happened , but they refused and said that the line would have too be cleared and that i would have to sign up again !!! so they said i sjhould ring back ...
8th November - I rang back and they said that it would take up too 10 days for my line too be cleared and that i should ring back after this , to order my broadband that i wanted.
18th November - After 10 aggonising days , I rang back and they took my order (up to 8mb broadband) and then said that all was done and that my Internet should be on within about 10 days !!! ahhhh Another wait i thought !!
28th November - Still no joy ???i rang back and got through to some indian who sounded about 12, I said "what the hell is going on" , he then said that there was problem with my BT line ??? and to ring back tommorow as the technical department was close .....
29th November - I rang back and i was told by some woman that my line was active and that the internet should be on by the 30th (tomorrow as it was) YAY !!! i thought !!
30th November - Still no internet , I rang them and asked why and he sai that there was a problem when trying to get the line through??? and that the broadband had to go through 22 different proccesses ???WAT !! Then he said that he would cancel it and start over again , they said the would ring me in the week .....
10th december - still no phone call and no internet ??? WTF !! I rang them and they said there was a problem with my line ?? and to ring back on the 12th ...
12th december - I just rang them and i got through to some woman , in the technical department , she said that there was a problem with the LLU and that it had been rejected???? Can anybody tell me what the hell she is on about ??? I rang back , and asked too see the manager and he refused too put me onto him , he then told me too ring back tommorow, so i told him how much trouble i had from them in the past weeks , he then told me it wasnt his fault and put the phone down on me ???? I WAS FUMMING !!!
So now i have to ring back tommorow and see whats happening !!!
can anybody lease tell me what i should do or point me in the right direction ???
By the sounds of it there was an LLU migration going through, changing your broadband from BTW's to Orange's system, but this was rejected for some reason. It may have nothing to do with it or everything. It's also possible that it could be preventing a fault being logged on the system.
Ok an update , I rang Orange yesterday and they said it should all be fixed and working by tuesday, but im not expecting anything off them, due too the crap service ive gt before ...
