I have cancelled my Orange BB. I had 1 month of my contract to go but decided to pay it off so i can get away from these bandits
I have been told i now have to wait for 10 days for Orange to take there equipment off my line
I have signed up with BE. They now need to know when my line is free so they can get it set up.
Is there a way i can check online if my line is clear. I would phone Orange but i'd probably get about 8 different answers. I have also heard that BT have long customer services waiting times.
The folowing is from ofcoms website. I've used it and have not experienced any waiting.
In the first instance we advise you to re-contact your ISP and ask them to confirm that a cease order has been placed on your line with BT Wholesale and on what date your line will be cleared.
If you have already done this and it is 20 days since your ISP advised you that a cease order has been placed and your recent attempt to order broadband was rejected, you can now check directly with BT Wholesale when the Tag will be removed.
Currently BT Wholesale is a very busy department and you may experience some waiting time in getting through to them.
