Wanted to leave a separate new topic about this as I have already seen lots of posts with similar problems to what I had.
I cant stress enough how much I would recommend emailing Eric Absnur, Head of Orange BB with any lenghty complaints in order to seek a resolution.
I did and it saved me from literally tearing my hair out - quite simply you will not get anywhere constantly contacting customer services. They are trained in avoidance tactics to stop you going elsewhere and to get you off the line. The foreign call centres in my experinces were the worst!
Dont bother logging a complaint with regulator etc - it will take forever and get you more stressed.
I was offline for 6 weeks with no end in sight being fobbed off with the usual excuses. I then emailed the Eric Abensur with a diary of my experience, head of Orange BB and result in 2 days, released with no penalties to go elsewhere.

When you go elsewhere I would avoid any of the biggies, Tiscali, Virgin, BT etc etc eventually it will go pear shaped with any of these.

I am now with Fast and they are the dogs. Remember you get what you pay for! Pity I didnt realise this before going with Orange.
I USED THIS INFORMATION ABOVE AND WITHIN 1 WEEK I HAD A LETTER SAYING DONT HAVE TOO PAY ANY REMAINDER OF THE CONTRACT 11 MONTHS NO CHARGE AND A MAC CODE SO PLEASE USE THIS ADVICE AND I THANK YOU FOR THAT

Anyone tried emailing the other 2 people? Have you got out of the contract though them? My Dad has given up on calling them now, he spent £30 last month just trying to get though to someone who actually knew what they were doing..
Tried some of the things there, nothing worked, and im kinda glad. I cant wait to see that live box go back to Orange Hell, and a nice 16/1mb connection from UK Online.
My Dad is going to e-mail them later, so I will see what happens.

Not personally, but several have reported prompt replies. Try both of the addresses mentioned, also a higher level general address is executive.office@orange.co.uk
