I'm having EXACTLY the same problem. It's driving me MADD URGH!!
Like every 15 mins the connection will cut out..and then it find's itself again. I can't listen to the idiots on the 'help'line, they dont have a clue
I think it's a bit unfair to say that they are idiots. I was on technical support and tried my very best on every call, does that make me an idiot?
Well not if you tried your best, but the guys at Orange are awful. There based in India, and I can't understand a word they say tbh. They speak like a computer...just following the book and not doing anything helpful at all, so yes they are idiot when it comes to fixing my livebox problems. Maybe if you had all the problems i've had with it you'd be angry too.
For sevaral weeks my livebox has randomly dropped its internet connection. The @ light flashes slow, then fast, then slow, then fast,
etc. This cycle repeats until it eventually corrects itself. 5.08.3-uk:evil:
same problem here it gets very annoying , think im going to have to buy a new router but does anyone know if you can set up Orange talk on it? (phone through the internet)

The talk service is pretty much locked to the livebox and can't be used on another router.
OK, Had the same problem as every one else here, the flashing @ Light!!
Flashing @ light -> PPP server down. this means that the livebox cannot connect/validate your ppp logon name with the exchange.
Solution -> I installed my old D-Link ADSL router which then worked no problem.
Orange would not believe me when I told them that the livebox was faulty and as you all know they put you through the same spiel everytime you phone. Since I have several years IT knowledge, this frustrates me to the maximum.
The only way to get them to send me a new livebox was to blag to them that my one was broke and would not turn on anymore. Finaly a new livebox arrived. Installed it, connected it to the internet but sadly my talk service did not work. Never mind that though, after about 8hrs the same problem again. PPP server down, no internet... I had emailed Orange about my phone service being down but they have not replied.
I'm sorry people but I've had enough. I am going to cancell Orange due to them not providing the service they had promised in the contract and not replying to my emails complaining about faults.
BT seem to offer a load more stability and british customer service.
