use to be able to use my pc and broadband with a extension lead from the main telephone point no problem.
now ive moved and have finally been reconnected i have to plug my speed touch adsl modem directly into the main telephone point to get connected.
anyone know a way round this?
What fixed it for you? I'm wondering whether or not to do the just leaving wires 2 and 5 trick to tweak more speed out my line
If you have any extensions off the BT linebox then you will probably notice a difference. If you have extensions then you need to do the same in those boxes.
