I've been having problems with my broadband connection since virtually the turn of the year. Actually managed to have a reasonably stable connection for the past few months but since the start of this week my connection has been virtually unusable. Just ran a speed test there and it actually took over 5mins for the test to complete, with a download speed of 102K reported.
I have now completely had enough, so will be cancelling my broadband asap. If they even attempt to tell me that I can't cancel because I'm still under some sort of contract I am more than willing to take them to court. The service they are providing is shocking and I for one have had enough.
I will keep you all posted on the no doubt lengthy saga that is about to unfold.
So many people, including myself, have left Orange and immediately get a great connection when with a real ISP.
I would recommend getting your MAC code off them so that you can migrate. They have to give you this within 5 working days BY LAW.
This way your downtime is minimal.
Whereas if you cancel you have to wait 10 working days (the maximum amount - of time by law) for them to clear your line.

Definately true, I migrated away from Orange at the start of the week, and even though Im in the 10 day testing period with my new isp, my connection/net is still more reliable/responsive than when I was with Orange.
