My son is connecting to my Livebox from his room. Rather than stop him by changing the WEP code, I just want to keep an eye on what he is doing. I have looked at Ethereal & Airsnare but they appear to be very complicated. Is there some way of seeing what web sites have been accessed ? Is this possible ?
Generally not directly from another PC without it being complicated, unless you get some sort of monitoring software to put on his PC. Try searching for website monitors or spying software. Most cost but there may be some free programs out there which do just want you want.
If there's software that can do this then a better option would be for a monitor to scan websites visited and only report ones that fit certain criteria. Least that way it's only reporting sites you take issue with and not everything he does on the PC.
