As ive said before in another thread, will getting the MAC code be easy? We have been without a connection for 3 weeks now, and the so called tests they have been doing have done nothing. Every time we call we get the "You are not using a livebox so we cant help you" then they hang up, "Its a problem with your equipment" "Your line is fine" "Have you rebooted your router?" "have you checked your computer settings?". Its terrible, so we want out now!
So, the MAC code, ive heard things about them refusing to give it to people. We still have a few months on the contract, will that be a problem? My Dad seems to be worried about losing his phone contract too for some reason, will they touch that? We are paying 5/month for it with the phone bill.. :/

They have to give you a MAC within 5 days by law wether in or out of contract they may say otherwise but just tell them that you are aware of the MAC code rules, and no it will not effect your phone line.
