I wonder if anyone could help me. I haven’t posted on the site for a while but log in regularly as it was so helpful to me when I was having problems with Orange. I escaped and went with Fast and they have been fantastic with speeds of 7mb. Over the last few days my son tells me that when he has been using the internet (Mozilla Firefox) he notices that the green squares on the taskbar relating to the Speedtouch Modem have suddenly gone Orange and he loses the connection. Yesterday this happened and when he logged back on to Firefox all his settings –bookmarks, homepage – had disappeared. I called Fast and they were very puzzled but suggested I did a virus check which I did and it showed up nothing. I was wondering if anyone had ever experienced this and knew what had caused it and if we can do anything to prevent it happening again. Many thanks. I know this is not now to do with Orange but I do know there are some clever people on here who might be able to help me!!!

If you back up firefox regularly it will save you from losing everything if the problem appeared again you can either use MozBackup or FEBE FireFox addon both do the same job.
