I called Orange and got them to check my line to see if im getting the best possible speeds i can.

They said i can get up to 4.5meg on my "up to 8meg" service whilst at the moment im only getting 2.2 so they changed the speed (and the damn contract the sneaky b/tards)

So my question is, how long will it take for the change in speed to take effect? they arent doing anything other than sending my faster speed, same box, same wires and all so it shouldnt take long right?

IT WILL TAKE UPTO 10 WORKING DAYS FOR THE SPEED TO CHANGE BUT THE SPEED U WILL RECIVE DEPENDS ON HOW FAR YOU ARE FROM THE EXCHANGE....THIS ALSO DEPENDS ON WHAT KIND OF LINE YOU ARE ON LLU OR IPSTREAM...
