I finally decided to leave Orange after 12 months of on and off problems and Orange technical support unable to resolve what day it is never mind the problems i had, the reason im posting this is just to let you know that the grass is greener on the other side, i decided to go with a ISP called ADSL24 and all i can say is what service you get from them its excellent, emails answered usually in five minutes, forum answered within 1 hour and support ticket answered with in five minutes and when you call them you speak to James who really knows his stuff, also the download speeds are excellent, im on ADSLmax and get 4meg (2meg on Orange) no matter what time of the day it is, what im saying is i get 4 meg 24/7. If anyone is looking for a good ISP to migrate to which take LLU MAC Codes i highly recommend ADSL24.
Great to hear you've got a fast reliable connection now darrel.
So many people, including you and I, post on here after leaving Orange to say how great are connections are afterwards.
It's just further proof that Orange quite clearly lie and rob without providing a service.
I've been with Idnet since last September, after leaving Orange, and similar to your new ISP they're faultless.
Amazes me how Orange are allowed to even think about advertising their broadband 'service'
Sorry to say this but i have to put you right on this one Elhana, the quote is from the pcworld website and it says "Visit your local PC World store to sign up for Orange Starter Broadband (£14.99 per month for 24 months). You will need to take your full bank details to complete the direct debit application" !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I saw a post somewhere on another site a guy from Currys or PC World cant remember which he clarified that it is a 24 month contract and Orange staff are quoting 18 months seems Orange cant even get that right lol

All the internal stuff I've read indicate when it gets called through to be registered it's for an 18 month contract and not 24 as the adverts suggest.
