The advice above eventually worked for me (thanks Keith). Initially only had limited access by making the changes, but after taking a while to realise the only thing I hadn't done was reboot, I did this and now everything is back to where it was a few months back with full access.
I need some help i am unable to connect to www.fordstownersclub.co.uk on my Orange supposed 8meg connection i can access all other sites no problems but this one keeps timing out been in touch wiith the adminstrator of this web site and was told all was o.k formatted both my laptops and hardwired pc still unable to acsess the site ?? Removed all firewalls and virus guards reset internet explorer rang Orange five times so far spoke to asian people who don't speak very good english on a 0870 premium rate numbers sent ten emails done everything they sudgested from their help files total waste of time took my laptop to my mates house who has Orange broadband and connected to the site straight away any ideas what could be wrong???

Ive just accessed the site with no problems have u deleted your cookies and temp files recently that usually clears it if i have a problem with just one site all of a sudden thats what i do as u said you can access any other site ok,
And make sure your MTU is optimized as in an above post.

Hi steve yes cleared cookies and temp files optimized MTU this is where i got the information from but still cant access the site driving me mad dont know what else to do i know its not my pc's as they all work on my mates Orange connection just before this happend i recieved an email fom ocs saying they were going to upgrade my internet speed free of charge since then i just cant access the st forum been Three weeks now nightmare !!!
Any ideas keith worked fine for six months now nothing LLU is that local loop unbunding if i sudgest that to Orange customer services they wont know what i'm going on about is there any way out of this contract i pay £19.99 a month for this rubbish all the best steve

Good idea Keith, it does seem a problem with Orange still strange though as i use OpenDNS too having said that i cannot ping or do a tracert to that site.
