Well in Oranges eyes it is of course not desperation its necessity. All they are trying to do is entice lots of new customers cos of the droves who are leaving... of course, they expect you to sign up for min 18 months. What they DONT of course tell anyone is once you have activated your account they have their greedy clutches on you and your gonna be stuck with a non-working broadband service for either 18 months or the length of time it takes everyone to realise what they have let themselves in for, then lets see what is free !!!
Oh by the way, im sure they will want their Lappy back as well !! so beware people!

Anyone seen the contractual terms for this so called "offer" ? or been daft enough to do it? it would be VERY interesting to read the T&C.

The bit where I have to provide at least one pre pubescent child every twelve months for ritual sacrifice at the Orange AGM and allow my wife to provide temple service finally decided me to ask for my MAC.
I have already stopped two people from my work from making mistake of accepting that "deal" but this offer may prove far too tempting to general public.
