I've been checking round to find an alternative BB supplier and when I have my line tested most say it is ADSL enabled and I can migrate but a couple say I am on LLU although I can still migrate its likely to cost money.
The money thing doesn't worry me but because I am on LLU is it likely to be a painful experience leaving Orange and what are they going to throw at me telling me why I can not migrate?
I just want to be ready with answers when they try to baffle me with reasons why I cant leave.
I am a relic of the Freeserve/Wannadoo era and my contract has long since expired although I believe I will have to give 30 days notice? is that correct?
Thanks for any answers Brian
Think I posted in the wrong forum ......am going to repost in General Problems
I left this week just find yourself a good isp ask them if they take llu maci think most do now then ring Orange ask them for your MAC code don't fall for their offers .They will e mail it to you then ring your new isp up when you have it and thats it.mine was short and painless migration and it is the best thing i have ever done.basically a constant 6.2 download and a 5.8 or so at peak times
