Hi all,

I've just recieved my livebox on Friday and have mine and the mrs' laptops connected via the lb which is good.

I want to set up port forwarding for a bittorrent client and also world of warcraft and a few other things so I read the how to at: here - portforwarding which directed me here - static IP setup

I can't get it to work. I fill in the boxes as advised in the Internet Protocol (TCP/IP) Properties panel and just get a blank web page if I try to load a page.

I'm doing this all wirelessly. I assume it CAN actually be done as what I am trying to do is recommended by Elhana in this post.

Have just worked out that the pc needs to be rebooting before allocation takes effect....d'oh.
