Well Wanadoo only have a single mention of ADSL Max in their system and unless the agent already knows about it they'd have to search specifically for it to find out more.
"We will offer it when your exchange is enabled", no thats LLU , I'm taking about BT max, "yes thats right, when your exchange is enabled"
Is it me, am I asking the wrong question or are the staff not trained ?

Check your info I think you will find that Wanadoo/Orange are looking at ' buying in ' a MAX service from BT due to the LLU cock up !
I'm told by a very helpful chap called James at their Head Office that this is indeed the case. Mid-to-late July should see Orange offering 3mb+ through BT max enabled exchanges.

stop shouting!
oranges stance regarding 8 meg via ADSL MAX has allways been to upgrade for free from a 2 meg connetion as soon as its aviable but are waiting for BT to give them the go ahead so they can start upgrading custumers in bulk.
by the way it called ADSL MAX not BT MAX and is avaible to any isp who is not ON LLU and for LLU isps to fill the the gaps so that would be possable to launch a video on demand service across the uk instead of just in the big citys.
read the message properly before flaming peaple for the sake of it!

Actually it's only called ADSL Max on the consumer side, the side ISP's deal with it's called IPStream Max.
