I recently bought a dell PC with vista and changed my Orange connection to Livebox, as my old connection would'nt load on vista.
My Livebox arrived a couple of days ago, but despite no problems with installing the CD, every time i try to connect, i get error code 815 and it says that it cannot connect to the remote server and that it could be caused by an invalid value for the 'Service Name' for this provider. I've checked Connection Properties, but the service name field is blank. Is the problem as simple as the service name, or is the some other solution.
I'm using the ethernet connection and both lights are solid and not flashing.
Hi, Just to get this cleared up. You ran through the set-up from CD with no problems. Did you input your username and password when prompted?
What does it say on the livebox config page? To access the livebox the CD should have installed an icon on your desktop. The username and password are both "Admin"
When i click on the config page, it says web page not available. I've looked through other posts and i've typed in http://192.168.1.1 but i get the same message.
