Hey there,
We had freeserve anytime dial up (orange). The email went through Microsoft outlook. Yesterday we got BT BROADBAND and now in Outlook we can recieve the freereve emails but cannot send them. Is this something to do with the new connection. Can someone check with me the pop3 stuff. Its so confusing. I asked Orange if it would still work and they said yes. Im just having trouble sending outgoing emails from the account using the outlook programme.

Change your freeserve email account outgoing smtp server to mail.btinternet.com and they will send ok
In outlook got to tools>email accounts>view or change existing email accounts>highlight the account and click change in the smtp server delete the freeserve setting and type in mail.btinternet.com, leave the pop one as it is
