As far as I know June 15th is the deadline for when a lot of extra capacity comes in, not a single source but several from what I can tell. It's unlikely to make a difference to an intermittant or dropping connection but should help with anyone experiencing slow speeds.
As for LLU migration, I don't expect they'll be doing huge swaithes of the country all in one go, probably an exchange at a time like before except maybe less time between them. There was a big problem with the migrations for the last couple of months but I've heard thats been cleared up now.

Apparently the Orange marketing department also came up with the London 2012 logo.
It would make perfect sense.

Hmm I think my speed is more stable than it used to be.
Before the 15th it would slow from 4.5meg to 2.5meg between about 4 and 11 but now I'm getting about 4.5meg all the time
I'm adsl max as Orange haven't put LLU in Scotland yet
LOL, Network upgrades? Lack of hard evidence? News spread by word-of-mouth? Smells of a propaganda nugget to me.
Bit like a horoscope...It makes sense, so it must be true! Until you find out its the wrong horoscope you're reading...Don't be fooled folks and don't get your hopes up either. They're probably hoping anyone getting a 0.000001kbs increase is going to attribute it to Orange doing 'upgrades', when in fact its far from the truth.
Does anyone know if there was work done at the Exchange last night around midnight?
I lost all internet connection at 00:05 - The router couldn't even 'see' the internet connection. It was back up and running by 08:30 - Still at 608kbps.
I was told yesterday that my particular speed issue which has been continuing for 3 weeks now will now be resolved by the end of June. This is after being told several times that the big day was the 15th June. Oh well... dial up speeds for another 2 weeks then...
Well the 15th came and went.
Everyone held their breath.
Orange did their "thing".
So, I can only liken it to a pair of brontosaurus's testicles - the biggest load of b o l l o c k s.
To commemorate this new lowlight in the Orange Performance calender, I thought up a little ode to Orange:
Oh Orange, of all the woeful lucks
Your service still, as ever sucks
Your staff are liars, crooks and cheats
Your management still avoids the heat
I'd like to get you in my sights
I'd like to shout with sheer delight
To free the safety and trigger squeeze
To hear you cough and groan and wheeze
The business model you so desire
To sink beyond your foul quagmire
For Orange to vanish from this earth
For customers to be free from this Orange curse
To surf with freedom at 8 meg max
Not this Orange .1k kack
So back, back Orange, back to your pit
You are as always truely s**t.
Now if only I had an email address for their CAT team, I'd send them a copy.
