Ok. I've got an old dial up account from the freeserve era. I need to change the password for login on purposes but I don't see how I can do it. I had assumed that it could be done through the Orange.co.uk website, but I can't see how. I can view my email by typing in my freeserve email address and password, but there's no apparent way to change it onces logged in. Clicking the 'Your Account' icon on the Orange front page doesn't help, as the system won't recognise my freeserve email and password.
Has any one successfully changed their broadband password recently and, if so, how did you do it?
Just to clarify I don't mean the password that accesses the settings of the Livebox (or any other router), but the password that goes with the @fs account name.
So long as you use the account details for your broadband it should update that. It could just take a short time for it to work through the system plus it would only take effect the next time you log in, with a router/livebox that could be sometime.

Elhana , this is Orange we are talking about; a new log in is always just around the corner! Sure enough it was and it didn't work.
I'm probably missing something fundamental, but I repeat the question:

Sorry to go on, but I'd really like to hear from someone who has successfully changed their broadband password recently. I've had line disconnections, PPP server down, Livebox reboots & factory resets and still it is the old password which gets me in, while the new one works with email and dial-up access.

Well, Three weeks after changing the password the Orange system has finally actioned it in some way. Of course it manifested itself as another lost connection, which mid call to India I suddenly realised, and changed the password on the livebox to restore connection.
I'm still puzzled what has finally triggered the change.
