The email problem appears to be getting worse! I can't send about 50% of the time now and I am also getting problems receiving now - mailbox lock.
As for download times, don't even start me.
I can't believe this has been going on for so long and they don't appear to be addressing it.
I have had enough and signed up for BT today, so hopefully in a week I will be free of Orange, I would suggest you all do the same, they may finally get the message.
I have been with Freeserve/Wanadoo/Orange for 9 years! All I can say is there loss for providing crap customer service and goods!
As posted in another thread, I am now getting 'Mail returned via the Postmaster ' address is unknown! no such address! etc.. etc for 'Spam' that I have absolutely no knowledge of in the first place, received, deleted, sent!! or otherwise!
I open Outlook Express or Outlook 2003, and for the past Three days I have received mail returned messages!! from at least 180+ of these somewhat scurrilous sites.. and now are able to read the opening line of script which are only slightly encrypted or 'coded'.. good job I get on the PC before the kids.. but why should I have too, why has this suddenly started?
I am still unable to send e-mail via Outlook using Orange servers, connection drops on average (past 14 days) at least 6 times a day, speeds are well.. judge for yourself :

Could be a virus or spyware on your system but more often than not it's a spoof attack. A spammer got your email address from somewhere or someone else's compromised system/address book and used it as where the emails came from. It is happening more and more these days.
This sort of thing rarely goes through the same network as the address used so there's practically nothing Orange can do to stop or prevent it.
As you are using outlook to access emails, we can only help you reset
the mail profile settings, though we do not provide technical assistance
on the same.
Kindly contact your supplier regarding the matter.
Note I have been sending and receiving for years now not changed anything on my comp
