Due to Oranges what I call lack of experiance. I cannot solve a problem, and wondered if somebody could help please?
When I have the Internet connected, and not using the Orange box, but a cheap ADSL I get severe interference on the phone line, and the ADSL connection drops out.
I use a netgear router and have no problems with it. 1st have you put the filters that Orange supplied on your phone line(s) inc Sky box line. Sounds daft but I had to start somewhere. What router/modem are you using, is it connected to your main phone socket and have you got anything else connected to it other than your phone....i.e.Sky, freeserve, fax ?

How many phone sockets do you have in your home if you have more than one you must have a filter fitted directly to each one then you router/telephone/Sky box etc plugged into the relevent sockets on ur filter, check HERE for further info

I agree with Stevelondon as a first point of call being the filter setup as what you're experiencing would be a normal side effect of something like that.
There are cases where this is a fault and not a setup issue though.
You've ruled out the modem/router by using several devices.
Setup/wiring could be the cause as there's not enough details supplied.
If the problem is at the exchange and you're on LLU then it could be down to Orange although if you're on IPStream then it's a BT problem.
You'll need to rule out all your own setup first and then get a line test. If you have the right socket try using the test socket and see if that makes a difference.
