Ive been on the telephone to Orange for the last couple of days. I really couldnt understand how when I rebooted my computer, and first logged in my downloads were at 300k, and after that download it was back to 40-50k a sec.
Orange said they was having "national download speed issues".
BT Speed test was appauling, profiled at 3000k and getting actual thru put of 500-600k?
Updated my wireless USB dongle sticks drivers to Vista, and hey presto what do you know? My problems are solved. I really couldnt understand it?
To double check I even rolled back the drivers, and it went back to slow again?
