I have an iBook which I have borrowed, and I need it to work wirelessly with my Livebox. However, it just does not seem to work, whatever I do. Can anybody help? The iBook is running OS9.1, if that helps.
Yep, I have tried all that. Also, the network has no security as that was the only way I could get my PSP to work on it too. The Livebox is connected via Ethernet to a Win98 PC, if that helps or hinders any more.
Well that complicates things. With no security there should be no trouble connecting if the livebox is in pairing mode. The PSP working proves the wireless is ok in the livebox itself. It could be to do with the frequency and you may get a connection for the MAC by changing the livebox channel, if you've not done so already.
Nope. All it says is "status not available" in AirPort. TRIED ALL CHANNELS!!!! 1-13! I have signal level, but no internet connection or status. I have Netscape 7.0 and Internet Explorer 5.0 for MAC.
