Having a bit of a problem - was all working normally until a few days ago when suddenly I couldn't get an internet connection, but could still link wirelessly and via ethernet to the Livebox. I have a 17" Mac Powerbook laptop.
I put a call in to technical support, who did tests and a line test. I rang back next day and the line apprears to be fine, could I swap the ADSL filter and try again etc.
Anyway, done all that but now when I try and connect wirelessly I get 'The selected network uses an Access Control List to restrict access and this computer is not on the list'. I connected via ethernet and checked username/password etc and it had changed to something else, so I changed it back to mine. I also noticed, when I was looking through my Airport settings etc, that my WEP key had a couple of extra new digits in front for some reason. Anyway, I've corrected all that but I still get the same message. Should I call technical support again, or is it something I can resolve myself?

Any help greatly appreciated!

Had the same problem with the 17 inch G4 powerbook from work. If you just press the pairing button on the back of the livebox it should connect fine. Try it and let me know.

UNABLE TO CONNECT WITH WIRELESS:
Are you pressing Button 1 on Livebox to put it into pairing mode?
Press Button 1 on Livebox so the wifi light flashes. This puts livebox into pairing mode and you have 10 minutes to try and connect your wireless device . This only needs to be done once and then you should be able to connect every time .
I had to change security on Livebox to WEP only.
WEP key is case sensitive.
If security is an issue WPA is more secure, try WPA only.
You could also try Changing the channel. One recommended to try is channel 9.
Another issue is if there are 2 programmes on the computer that you are trying to connect trying to control the wireless. Turn of the programme that came with the wireless card and use XP to control the connection.
Cheers. Yes pressed button 1 for pairing - still getting same message.
Changed security to WEP only also. Typed WEP key in all caps etc. Tried changing channel also. My G4 laptop hs Airport built in, and can see the Livebox on the network list so can establish a connection. So, can't turn off any programmes etc.
I'm wondering if it may be something else - not sure what this 'Access Control List' is it keeps banging on about! I'm at work now so can't try it again till tonight. Just wanted to get as much advice as I can so I can try again tonight before ringing technical 'support'...
