Well, my upgrade due 23 jan just killed my service competly. I had the same response, give it 24 hours, give it 24 hours, we will do a line check, ring in 48 hours. 48 hours later, sorry, line check wasn;t done, I will do it now, ring in an hour. ! hour later, linecheck shows a fault, we wil escalate to the engineers, ring in 48 hours if it isn't fixed. 48 hours later, we fixed it, if it isn't working we will feedbsck to engineers, ring in 48 hours. Then it's could take 3 days, wait till Sunday. On Saturday, a miracle, they phoned me!
Not much of a miracle, they phoned to say it's fixed now, but I stil can't get a signal, so the kind people are escalating it to the enineers, should hear someting in 48 hours.
I tried Orange customer service number, but on pressing "2 for broadband" i got put in the queue to speak to the people who have failed to fix it so far.
And... I nearly forgot to mention that in the beginning, their helpful Technical Support staff had me uninstalling, reinstalling, setting the Livebox back to manufacturers settings. Which, of course, I knew and (probably) they knew, would not and did not resolve the problem. And they still insist on asking me to do it - which I just refuse to do now... Then, is your username and password entered correctly - oh I think so... It has been checked almost daily for the last 7 weeks!
I will get some time and literally list every phone call I have made to Wanadoo in my "own" area of the forum! I have been quite meticulous in recording teh events of teh last 7 weeks.
And still... No internet connection...

Gosh that takes me back to when I first started wit wanadoo. How cheery it is for us all to note that when Orange took over they ensured Wanadoo's standards were adhered to.
And so it seems I end my contract with Orange exactly the same as I started with wanadoo, pointless endless phonecalls repeating the same information to a new person over and over and over.....
